I am pretty sure the world economists would have something completely different to say about why the Thai Baht is getting so strong when the economy is still recovering from Covid?
There have been stories the Thai Baht is manipulated for the sole benefit of those in charge.
Exports are now expensive so what exactly is making the baht so strong against the US Dollar and British Pound.
There is no logical answer?
In the 30 – 32 thb/$US dollar range it is cheaper for me to live in the US than it is to stay in Thailand.
Oil and Natural gas prices are higher.
The budget deficit is growing out of control.
So how in the world does the Baht get stronger?
