Disposable Income

Your quality of life, living in Thailand, is 100% dependent on how much income you have.

I have said it 100 times.

What gets you over when you first move to Thailand, say a rented condo, and no car, can get very old quite quickly.

As people spend more and more time in Thailand their wants change and those wants cost money.

As you get older, unexpected costs, medical bills, etc. will also cost more.

Do you plan on meeting that special person in Thailand? Well figure in when thinks get serious, she is going to have wants and needs as well.

If you cannot meet those needs, it won’t last, that is for sure.

Do you understand how much entertainment costs in Thailand? A night out more pricey than you might guess.

Can you afford it?

A smart person would visit Thailand and learn what kind of quality of life they can have with the monthly income they earn.

Many find out all these hocus pocus stories on Youtube about how cheap you can live in Thailand are simply not true.

Living that cheap, you will get sick of Thailand really quick.

You, first need to understand your OWN life?

What do you want to be able to do while living in Thailand?

Have money to go out (entertainment), dating, women?

Have money to travel to visit family and friends internationally?

Have a car/truck to get around?

Have a house/land/condo, something of your own?

Go on internal holidays to the beach or other tourist locations?

Then make a plan and figure out what your life will look like and then start researching how much that life will cost.

There are too many foreigners that get trapped into thinking they can move to Thailand and live on the cheap the rest of their lives. No, not realistic and not true.

Most people that move to Thailand cannot afford to replicate the life they just left in their home countries.

The amount you need to make each month is different for everyone.

No one knows what kind of life you want to have except for you and they cannot realistically tell you how much your life will cost.

One of the biggest issues I can think of is the single men that come to Thailand, meet someone and want to settle down.

It is quite a different in cost for a single person vs a couple.

You need to understand life as a normal couple and how much it will cost to live.

You don’t want to find out the hard way later!
