There seems to be a rash of foreigner Youtuber’s, who are marveling at the financial success of a few, and trying to emulate them in order to earn enough income to stay in Thailand.
The problem that arises, is many of these Youtuber’s are falsely making up stories to gain subscribers. Not sure how you can get any lower than that when there is a ton of things to see and report on in Thailand?
If I had to stereotype this specific brand of Youtubers, I would characterize them on the under educated side and financially strapped to meet the minimums to live in Thailand.
Each of of these Youtuber’s seems to attract a small band of followers who believe everything they hear like gospel.
These Youtuber’s resort to telling stories, some I have heard as far back as 20 years ago. No truth or evidence they ever even happened?
They often blame their financial failures on their Thai wives, bash Thai women, and expect a Thai woman to be happy she married a poor and broke expat??????
There is nothing worse than 1 sour expat spreading all their hate and falsehoods on Youtube. It is no one’s fault they chose to live underfunded in Thailand but their own.
When their Youtube channel does not grow to meet their financial expectations in a timely manner, the stories get even more ridiculous.
I am getting to the point, although I hate censorship, that the Thai government should get involved in licensing foreign Youtubers and keeping track of their content.
What do you say?
