Are uneducated expats more likely to spread misinformation about Thailand than educated expats?
In any Thailand expat group, you can find a mountain of disinformation about Thailand.
There could be 100’s of reasons why, I think it will never be pinpointed exactly.
I believe most of these negative expat comments are from people with limited education.
You cannot serious believe air pollution is better now than it was 20 years ago in Bangkok. One step outside and you should be smart enough to figure out that is not true.
There are lovers and haters of Thailand in the expat community.
If you can afford to move to Thailand and financially maintain your quality of life, you probably love it.
If you are skint and living in a one room flat, maybe you hate how things turned out.
Your situation will directly affect your happiness.
Youtuber’s visiting Thailand, people visiting on holidays are NOT experts and their advice should be researched for accuracy.
20+ year expats probably have a wealth of experience.
However, Thai will always, always, always be the best source of information.
