Are you a tourist that loves Thailand because you came here on a holiday or are you a resident that made the move full time?
Many tourists take such a liking to Thailand on their initial holiday, that they decide to move here.
However, being here as a tourist as opposed to a resident is like night and day.
I think the biggest issue, is when you are here on a holiday, you have a pocketful of money to spend as you see fit.
When you move, and Thailand becomes your home, the money may be a giant issue.
Trying to live in Thailand on the cheap, I can guarantee you will not have the same experience you had as a tourist and you will end up hating it here.
Thailand costs money. Staying in resorts, entertainment, doing fun things all cost money.
If you do not have the money to do those fun things, Thailand will get old and boring very quick. You will not enjoy it here.
No matter where you live in the world, it cost money. People have to work their entire lives to earn and save enough to retire when they are old.
If you forget this fact and move to Thailand, it won’t be long before you find out the hard way.
Thailand is no different than any other country in the world.
Thai people work their entire lives here just to be able to survive and you will have to as well.
Don’t ever think Thailand is going to give you a free ride in life, because it won’t.
If you don’t have a way to pay for life here and be able to save for retirement, you will learn the hard way, sooner or later.
There is no such thing as a dream life in Thailand without the money to pay for it.
