Merriam-Webster defines a digital nomad as “someone who performs their occupation entirely over the internet while traveling.” They may work remotely for weeks, months and even years.
This is a choice for those wanting to live in Thailand that cannot meet any VISA requirements.
Immigration is currently looking at Digital Nomad work as a gray area and at this point is not concerned (not enforcing) with people working without a work permit.
