Are there any attractions in Thailand worth visiting twice?
As a Thai, I think once I have visited a place, the magic is completely warn off for any repeat visits.
I do think expats like to visit the same spot over and over, or just they like stay put in one spot that they are familiar with.
However, the high season, where attractions are flooded with tourists, are not the place for me to want to revisit.
Getting on crowded boats, standing in long lines and the amount of noise from people talking is just not worth it.
The saying “Been there, Done That”, comes to mind. Sometimes the actual experience is a heck of lot less than what you expected and so not worth it.
Kind of like paying for an expensive meal, only to find out the street food tastes better.
I think there are enough attractions, beaches and different areas to explore that a person should never have to revisit the same places twice.
Only in a place like Khao Sok, or Khai Yai where you might come across wild animals you have never seen might be worth a repeat visit.
Still a ton of places I have never visited, I would want to visit all them before any repeats.
