Low Expat Education Levels

I would guess the average expat education level in Thailand is a high school graduate.

Previously it wasn’t uncommon to find expats teaching English with only a TEFL certificate.

One spin around expat sites on social media and you can really tell the lack of education as a whole.

When you have 40 year old’s trying to make money as a Youtuber because they have no education or skill and spinning all kinds of untruths.

They honestly think they know everything about everything.

I use to wonder why my husband loved living in rural Iaan so much. But over the years I learned.

He just does not want to be around these uneducated types that have no clue you have to work and save your entire life, to get a pension to be able to stop work when you are old and retire.

Tons of uneducated expats, that have no basic education in buying a house, building, or fixing anything.

Thinking they have it all figured out, when they are living day to day.

None of them will talk about not having a proper visa, but if you want learn how to live in Thailand for $500 a month they will surely tell you.

No one with any sense in the world would recommend that but they do.

They keep on spinning their stories on social media trying to make enough money to survive.

Anyone with half a brain realizes a person must work their entire life and save, to have enough to retire. But not these folks.

The entire internet is polluted with these uneducated expats that think the rules of hard work over a lifetime do not apply to them.
