There are expats that are married to a Thai, have Thai kids and wish to live in Thailand now, but they just cannot financially.
Many of these expats are forced to go back and work in their own home countries, leaving their Thai wives and kids in Thailand.
I cannot imagine how hard this must be on the entire family, each time the husband/father has to go back to work?
It shows you how important money and income is in Thailand.
If you do not have a steady income where you can support a family, there is no way you will survive.
That is why most expats have to wait until they retire to have a steady income.
If you are continually leaving your work to be in Thailand, saving for a pension or retirement is even harder.
This is not a short term solution for younger men in their 30’s to 40’s.
The same as their home countries, living in Thailand takes a fulltime income.
