In Thailand, every one wears brand names so what is the big deal?
The big issue in Thailand, 99% of the clothes you see people wearing everyday are the fakes, the counterfeits, the knock-offs.
Shirts, shorts, hats, handbags, shoes, watches, even phones, it just doesn’t matter.
All Fakes!
The 1% that can actually afford and do purchase the real deal? Chances are you will NEVER cross paths with these 1% in Thailand.
So why would the average expat person spend big bucks on brand names when everyday people will always think you are wearing fakes?

You always see tons people in the high end malls in Bangkok.
But how many do you see that actually buy anything?
A small percentage?
If you want to hype your ego because you have expensive brand names, the bad news in Thailand is NO one will notice or care.
Save your money for a classy dinner and wear what the locals wear.
