Scamland

Scamland, when Thai’s take advantage and scam each other!

Money rules in Thailand. No matter what you think, you do not see 99% of the problems.

However, wanting money ranks up there at #1.

Thai’s who want money are very devious about setting up scams on the unsuspected and unknowing. Believe it.

Scamming their own people appears to be super easy.

Whether over the phone or on Facebook or social media, Thai’s get scammed every single day and yet foreigners think it is only them?

Thai people are very gullible, never using any critical thinking before opening their purse/wallet and giving loads of money to complete strangers.

Perhaps this is a lack of education in most cases or wanting something they do not have so bad, they are willing to give away money to complete strangers.

We are talking 10,000’s of baht!

It is hard to see Thai people scamming their own for money.

These folks pay their hard earned money and sometimes their life savings out of a single desire for themselves.

In the west, there are all kinds of sayings such as “If it is too good to be true…” however Thai people do not see to relate to thinking that there are all these scams out there.

Sometimes I feel sorry for these people that have been scammed. They mean no harm.

Yet, it all comes down to their own greed in many cases.

A recent news article pointed out where a Thai lady was scammed out of 40,000 thb on Facebook in a page run by another Thai lady to find them rich, foreign, husbands. When the lady received no matches after 3 months, she complained and the Facebook operator told her you did not receive any matches because you are ugly!

Yes, yes, yes that good old Thai nasty behavior after they have scammed all your money.

Even in Thailand, if it sounds to good to be true, it is just a scam.
