Sunday will bring heavy to very heavy rain and gusty winds to the North, Northeast, Central Region including Bangkok, East and South (west coast), according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
“People should beware of severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in foothills around waterways and lowlands,” it said.
Typhoon Noru is forecast to pass over the Philippines into the South China Sea from Sunday to Monday before hitting Vietnam by Tuesday and Wednesday as it approaches Thailand.
