In locations like Pattaya and Phuket, it is amazing the number of folks you will see in the bars already drinking beer well before lunchtime.
There are a number of bars that are open before noon, especially in tourist areas. Some are open from 10 am or earlier.
It must be a way of life for some people?
I could never understand drinking this early in the morning, with the whole day ahead?
However, when the bars are open until 2 AM, it is possible to go home and take an afternoon nap before hitting it again in the evenings.
Appears most patrons at this time of the morning are locals that live in Thailand.
