Who can you trust getting factual information concerning moving to Thailand?
There are tons of social media groups.
However, my experience is there is a bunch of misinformation or just completely wrong information on these groups.
Other’s are in it to make money. Trying to get the unsuspecting foreigner to gain their trust to get money from them.
Other’s think the entire country operates the exact same as where they live, which is completely untrue. Isaan is not the same as Phuket.
Agents of all sorts, housing, visa, etc., you need to exercise extreme caution as they are trying to make money from you.
People do nefarious things, and lots of them, when then need to make money and see your desire for knowledge as an easy and uneducated target.
It is best, to do your own thorough research and trust yourself.
There are plenty of official websites from the Thai government that will give you all the information you need for Visa’s, Land, Drivers Licenses, Marriage and so on.
