A trend in Thailand appears to be constructing overhead glass walkways to attract tourists.
I say no thank you to this. No, no and no!
Much to scary for me!
Even as a Thai, I do not trust the construction.
And before you get all crazy, 3 weeks ago in Indonesia, one of these glass walkways collapsed.
On October 25, 2023, a glass panel broke on a 32 foot high bridge in Indonesia’s Limpakuwas Pine Forest.
The incident killed one tourist and injured three others. The bridge was a popular tourist attraction in the Banyumas Regency of Central Java.
When people build things for profit in Thailand, you never know what kind of safety requirements were followed if any.
For that reason, you would never catch me on one of these glass bridges.
There are some locations, you can see 100’s of people on these glass walkways at one time, not knowing the weight limitations or anything?
Too scary, no thank you!
