Taiwanese YouTuber loses items worth 154,000 baht in Bangkok

Taiwanese YouTuber Alisasa was robbed of items worth about 154,000 baht while travelling in Bangkok last week.

The popular YouTuber announced to fans that she was disappointed her camera and bag were snatched, resulting in lost videos recorded for her channel, but insisted she still enjoyed her trip to the Thai capital city.

On August 16, the female YouTuber posted a picture of herself standing in front of Thai Pak Klong San Police Station on her Instagram account, @goodalicia. The picture caption made it known that her camera and a shoulder bag were stolen in Bangkok and that she had filed a complaint with the Thai police.

The 30 year old posted another video of a view from the Peninsula Bangkok saying footage of her four-day stay at Bangkok’s most expensive hotel also disappeared together with the camera and that the lost items were worth about 154,000 baht.

The YouTuber didn’t clarify how and where she lost her goods but added she still enjoyed her trip.

The Taiwanese followers on her Instagram account told her to cheer her up and think positively that she is safe and unharmed. Many fans urged her to stay in Thailand longer to film one of the capital’s most expensive hotels again.

The Thai police have not reported any development regarding her missing items and it is unknown whether she will get them back.

The Taiwanese media outlet, Apple Online, added that she lost her mobile phone in Japan before travelling to Thailand.

Alisasa’s YouTube Channel is named 愛莉莎莎 Alisasa. She promotes travel and lifestyle videos in places such as Taiwan and South Korea, where she went to study for nearly a year before becoming a YouTuber. She has 1,200,000 subscribers on YouTube and 584,000 followers on Instagram.
