A minibus carrying many foreign tourists overturned on Saturday morning, injuring 10 foreigners.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 AM on July 6th, 2024 on the Phunphin-Mueang Road in the Tha Lon sub-district, Phunphin district, Surat Thani province.
Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the minibus overturned on the side of the road. Ten foreign passengers had sustained minor injuries and were taken to Phunphin Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the minibus, identified only as Mr. Chatchaphong, told police that he was taking the tourists from Surat Thani Railway Station to Donsak Ferry Pier when he lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve.
Thai bus drivers have the stupidest excuses for crashing.
Cannot even go around a curve without crashing????????????????
This is why you will never see me on a mini-bus ever.
If a bus driver cannot go around a curve without crashing, he should not have a license to drive a bus.
The main problem is the bus companies hire the cheapest they can find and in Thailand cheap means watch out.
