“Lod-Hai-Noi-Dai-Mai-Krub/Kha” (ลดให้หน่อยได้ไหมครับ/ค่ะ) Krub for a man and Kha for a girl.
You should also understand 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 baht and learn to recognize those values in Thai when the vendor replies to your request for a discount.
5 baht – Ha”(Hā) (ห้า) sound similar to ฮ่า(Ha) Ha baht
10 baht – สิบ (sip)baht
20 baht – ยี่สิบ (yee-sip) Yee-Sip baht
30 baht – สามสิบ (saam-sip) Saam Sip baht
40 baht – สี่สิบ (see-sip) See Sip baht
