When in Thailand, be advised that ANY location that has wild monkeys that are use to living or being around human’s, the monkeys will steal anything they can.
Whether food, fruit or other edibles, these monkeys have learned that human’s carry food in plastic bags and they will snatch the bag right out of your hand.
Sun glasses, mobile phones, cameras, and hand bags can all be targets of these furry thieves at any moment.
If you get into a tussle trying to get your things back, these monkeys can become super aggressive and even bite you.
These monkeys are known to be carriers of Hepatitis C and you do not want to get bit.
My advice is do not think these monkeys are so cute. They are very clever in stealing things.
If you lose something very expensive you might want to give chase or have a local assist.
If it is food related, just let them have it.
Better believe these wild monkeys have their own agenda’s.
