I don’t know you personally or your situation. That is why I cannot give you advice.
Thailand is a very large complex country.
Each geographic region has it’s own unique issues.
How your life goes in Thailand actually only comes to down to 2 things?
- Money – If you are underfunded, need to work the next 30 or 40 years and have no education or skill, you will not make it here.
- VISA – You need to find a way to be here legally.
That is what I can tell you for guaranteed facts.
Anything else you hear along your journey from social media or these Youtube Clowns claiming to live on $500 a month are just BS and you will learn the hard way.
If you were a close friend and I knew your situation, we could talk and share information.
However, taking advice from people you do not know on social media can be the start of the end.
As a young person, it is hard and expensive to get a legal VISA.
If you think you are going to do border bounces the rest of your life, please think again.
- I would do some soul searching if I really want to spend the rest of my life in a country I have only had a holiday in and have no idea how it works?
- Can I afford it and afford to live like a normal person and save for retirement.
- Can I stay long term legally.
Until you solve those 3, worrying about location should be of no concern.
