Local Market Caution

If you get married to a Thai, you may end up buying food in the local market every day.

As you can see, there should be extreme caution in what you buy in a local market.

For anyone that has moved to Thailand and had a bad bout with food poisoning, you will already understand this.

The health conditions in local markets are extremely sub-par and unhealthy at best.

Steer clear of raw meat sitting out in the 100 degree sun should be the first thing to avoid. You will know because of all the flies.

Pay attention to the health conditions, food preparation area and handling. Cleaning dishes with dirty water.

All can attribute to food poisoning.

Any foods that are char-grilled or boiled should be ok.

Best to always be thinking about healthy concerns before buying anything.
