We have all heard the saying “Made in China”. It’s true. Things made in China and Thailand are very low quality.
Things will break and wear out before you know it.
If you are planning on moving and living in Thailand, during the course of 10 years or less, do not be surprised if you have to replace the following:
Household appliances including cooking stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer, microwave, hot water heaters and air conditioners.
Solar Panels
Yard tools, mower, trimmer
Furniture
Computer
Mobile Phone
Car
Things are just not built here with quality in mind.
There is no such thing as buy it once and you are good for life.
Like anywhere in the world, your personal budget should allow for savings so that when something does wear out, you have the money to replace it.
What can help is to buy the best quality you can afford up front.
Things made in Thailand and China have very susceptible quality.
Better to buy made in Japan!
